Intech - 30th Anniversary - Intech Furniture

intech furniture look forward to the upcoming ifsec exhibition which is just one in a run of exhibitions already attended by intech this year. they were also represented at iipsec, coventry, the cctv user group, bristol and at the world-renowned intersec exhibition in dubai.

embarking on their 30th anniversary, intech are due to launch both a new stand and a fresh marketing campaign at ifsec 2008. as a prominent leader in the technical furniture industry, intech’s experience and customer focused attitude continue to shine-through. the outstanding quality of their furniture is what sets them apart from their competitors and they are aiming to achieve iso9001:2000 certification for their qms this year.

achieving record sales in 2007, 2008 looks to be another booming year for intech, who have already secured for the first quarter, a number of large fit-outs of control rooms in both town centres and universities across the uk, including stratford on avon town centre and the university of birmingham.

2008 has seen the completion of a major project for runnymede borough council; the “safer runnymede” scheme. intech furniture welcomed the £200,000 contract which combined both their specialised fields; bespoke technical furniture and complete control room fit-outs. peter booth, managing director, worked closely with the client and our on-site project manager to ensure the project was a complete success.

Enigma group, based in washington, enlisted intech to build their new alarm receiving centre in the second half of 2007, awarding them the £150,000 contract. converting a suite within an existing building, the arc was built to bs5979:2007 requirements and upon completion it gained full certification from the ssaib. every aspect of the arc was dealt with by intech, from the shell down to the decoration and colour scheme. the arc also featured bespoke, dropped lighting features, designed specifically to mimic the lines of the consoles, allowing the operators a relaxed environment, adjustable to their needs.

we look forward to seeing both new and familiar faces at ifsec 2008 where we will be celebrating 30 years in the industry.
